Starlight BOM Finished! (Friday Foto Fun #314)
Happy Friday, I'm still in Taiwan but I wanted to share the finished quilt top of the Starlight Block of the Month!
The Starlight Block of the Month ran all of 2023, but I just did the final quilt top assembly a few Saturdays ago in January. The quilt top is mainly foundation paper pieced blocks with very little traditional piecing. However, the setting instructions are all traditionally pieced and came together rather quickly! The quilt top finished at 72" square.
A keen eye will notice that the quilt top is not exactly like the icons that I've been sharing all along. It's because when I was laying out the blocks, I swapped a few to get the colors framing the block to have better contrast.
Do you see the difference? The mock-up was done with a few different colors. I used fat quarters for the quilt top and ended up with more colors than the original mock-up and with slightly different color layouts.
You can get the full pattern here with all 12 blocks and setting instructions or you can purchase each individual block separately!
As a quick reminder - no stream until February 17 since I'm currently in Taiwan!

I like that you swapped some around. That automatically has to happen at the end of every quilt to get everything balanced perfectly.
This quilt is beautiful!
