H2O 2Go Sling!

This last Saturday I made an H2O 2Go Sling by Linds Handmade, with some hacks meaning I didn’t follow the pattern 100%.

Simply Linked Quilt Pattern!

Happy Season 4 of the Simply Quilts! Introducing Simply Linked! This quilt top was made in just over 2.5 hours this past Saturday!  I seriously cannot believe how quickly this quilt came together!  It totally pays to eliminate the extra seams and be more thoughtful in fabric placement!  The quilt used 8 fat quarters and about 1.75 yards of background.

Starlight BOM Month 1

Look at my beautiful block!  I made it on stream on Saturday! The block from start to finish took about 2-3 hours to make. The real-time video will be on Twitch until Jan 28 so there is still time to get the pattern and sew along with me. I go through each step of how I foundation paper piece and sew the block together!  If...

Ava Pouch aka Sanitizer Holder

Happy New Year!!!  I hope everyone’s holiday was amazing and you got some rest and relaxation.  I was super busy secret sewing all of my quilts for the next collection.  Honestly, it was exhausting but it’s my fault for waiting till break to do all of them.  I took a small break Saturday and made myself an Ava Pouch by A Quaint Stitch. There’s a...

2023 Planning Party

I can’t believe the year is almost over.  2022 has been a year full of changes and has definitely worn me out!  I’m joining in with Yvonne at Quilting Jet Girl for the 2023 planning party! I figured this would be a great way for me to detail out my goals for the upcoming year. Looking back through my blog posts for my 2022 goals,...

New Pocket Pal!

In the spirit of remaking some of my very first bags/non-quilty items, I thought it was time to remake my wallet, a Pocket Pal by Linds Handmade.  I decided to use a 1″ seatbelt webbing for the snap closure rather than making a vinyl flap closure.  I think the seatbelt worked perfectly!  The edges were easy to singe with a lighter to keep it from...

Awesome Ocean – Slow but Steady!

I was able to finish the Turtle blocks for the Awesome Ocean quilt this past weekend.  The total time was about 6 hours to complete these little blocks. They are pretty darling, but I’m not really sure if 6 hours was worth it.

Change Direction – Finally Finished!

It’s been a long time since I finished the Change Direction quilt top earlier this year.  Given the supply chain challenges last year around this time, I didn’t get the Citified collection until right before I left Albuquerque, so I had to finish a lot of the tops for that collection in temporary living in Minnesota.

Hiraeth Handbag revisited!

I made another Hiraeth Handbag by Lavender & Twine.  It took me 2 Saturday streams and a total of ~9 hours or so from start to finish to complete the bag!
