Binding Babies, I love you so (Friday Foto Fun #61)
Binding babies... I own 3 of them and I thought that was going to be enough! Until I had one baby holding leftover binding from a previous project and used my other 2 babies to hold bindings for current quilts I got back from my longarm.
I have 3 more quilt bindings to make and complete the quilts before the end of the month... but that's for another day I suppose.
Now does anyone have a guess what these 2 binding babies are for?
I have a brand new pattern dropping on Tuesday! I'm pretty excited about it because I was working on this quilt before the Quilt Market rush but had to put it down to get market prep completed.
The second binding is for the Monthly Color Challenge quilt! The setting instructions will be released on December 15!
For other news, Kim Niedzwiecki (Go-Go Kim) joined Island Batik as their Social Media Manager which is so cool! Kim is an awesome person and fantastic with social media. Next year is going to be so great! Applications are due TODAY for next year's ambassadors! I hope I'm accepted in the program again for next year!
Don't forget to join in on the Hidden Stars SAL starting January 8th! Read about that here.
Your turn! What did you accomplish this week? A block? A quilt top? Link up below!

I have a binding baby, too. They are the cutest quilt assistants!!! Best wishes for the IB. I’m sure you’re a shoo-in!
Binding Babies are super cute! I wind my binding around empty thread spools. Cheaper, but not nearly as cute!! I have no doubt that you’ll be chosen as an IB Ambassador again! I applied but know I’m a long shot since they are looking for folks like you who are more involved in a business side of quilting.
Binidng babies are just so cute. I wind mine around tp rolls and use a binder clip to hold – so functional but it lacks class. Just ordered some white to play along with the SAL. Now to pick what else is playing….
