QAL by the Sea Block 10!

I really love the sunset gradient for this block and it uses so many different colors!

Here are my top tips:

For the applique, I cut the centers out of the sun but left the rest of the pieces intact.  They are all small enough that the bulk from the adhesive shouldn't be a problem.

I always test my layout before ironing them down to make sure that I like what I end up with.  Once it's ironed, it's really difficult to move an appliqued piece!

I used monofilament for my thread this time to stay consistent with the other blocks in the QAL, but I could have easily used a yellow and black thread.  Once you are done with the blanket stitch, zig zag stitch, etc.  Trim your block to size.  Blocks tend to shrink with applique stitching.
