  1. Oil pastels look a bit like crayons, but (at least the ones I have) are square with no pointed end. They have a little bit of tackiness to them, and that is why they would work well for this activity. Basically they are asking you to do a form of print making where you color on one side of the paper with the pastels, place it colored-side down on another paper, and rub. The print should transfer to the other paper. I like your designs in your waves, and your lettering is looking good!

      OHHHH!!!! 🤦 I haven’t used those in years! Since middle school art classes. I don’t think I’ve ever owned any. That’s good to know… This exercise does like it’d be fun 🙂

    Yes, I was guessing it was as Wendy suggests, that you are using the second step to transfer color from the first step to your paper. I like your pebbles!
