Simply Plaid Quilt Pattern!

Introducing Simply Plaid! This quilt was almost made 100% on stream.  Unfortunately, I had a work emergency that caused me to cut stream right before I finished, but the total time to complete the quilt without the border was about 3 hours!  I decided to add a border on the quilt to make it lap-sized.  Something I realized when using fat quarters, I can’t technically...

North Stars Reindeer Block

Can you make a block without all the fabric you need? The short answer is no, but that didn’t stop me from trying to do this.  Remember my destash a few weeks ago?  I decided that I wanted to make the North Stars Quilt by Elizabeth Hartman since I bought all the Arctic fabric years ago to make it.

Here’s the first quilt in my 2021 Simply series.  Introducing Simply Flying!  I made this quilt top center (minus the border) in just under 4 hours this past Saturday!  I used 9 different fat quarters and just over a yard of black fabric for the center of the quilt.  The border was also just over a yard of black fabric.

Amara Tote and Handbag!

Sometimes there are just projects that I get so excited for that I don’t wait to stream it on Twitch, but rather just go ahead and make it!  This was the case for the Amara Tote!

2021 Planning Party

Yvonne at Quilting Jet Girl is hosting this year’s planning party again! I figured this would be a great way for me to detail out my goals for the upcoming year. Looking back through my blog posts for my 2020 goals, I’m happy to report that I hit most of my Powered By Quilting goals but came up short on my Health and Wellness goal. ...
